Burrel Elementary is a single school elementary school district. Curriculum is focused on meeting state standards in language arts, mathematics, and science. The school supports cultural awareness on a daily basis through its diverse literature selections, parent involvement, a strong emphasis on the importantance of individual differences.
During the 2008-2009, 102 K-8th grade students were enrolled at the school, with classes arranged on a traditional schedule.
90% of our students are enrolled in some aspect of our after school program "Operation T.E.A.M."
